An attempt to craft the future of Indian furniture. An exploration of the essence behind the amalgams of art and craft spread across this diverse country and beyond.

Work

The studio works on two complementary avenues of projects that inspire one another. The first is the collection of Noku, a thoughtfully curated selection of pieces designed around a cohesive theme. The other is our more bespoke offering for clients who desire unique furniture and accessories that are custom made for their context

Collection

Collections form the basis of our work where you get to experience the studio's diversity. We explore numerous concepts that emerge from our practice and hold the interest of ours and the clients'. And within each of them, individual pieces are conceptualised to work well with each other and embody a part of the larger essence.

'Collection of Stillness' is one such explorations that has condensed and is here for you to experience

Bespoke

Every client looks for a piece that is unique to them and their home. It is their own creative expression and a reflection of their life. And we, through our crafted furniture, seek to give form to it.
To make this happen, we are open to experimenting with different styles, forms and techniques from across the world.

Of Stillness
Mid-Century refers to works from the 1950's and 60's, characterized by the use of materials like wood, metal, cane and fabrics. The beauty of it lies in its simplistic and organic flowing lines that come together to create a form that serves a specific purpose.

Studying the style's language led us to explore how we view classic designs in the current context. The Chandigarh chair was an Indian furniture interpreted in the 1950's, and we look to do the same in the 21st century. Thus, our debut collection placed this Pierre Jeanneret work at the center of the mood board and grows from there.
